Stepping outside on this crisp autumn morning, the cool, dry earth presses gently against the soles of my feet—a grounding reminder to be present, fully here, now.
The condensation sliding down my cup of morning coffee adds a touch of moisture, an echo of the life-giving water within. Each sip stirs me awake, bringing clarity to the day ahead.
Above, leaves swirl in midair, caught in a whimsical dance with the wind, direction unknown—free, wild, untethered.
I turn toward the sun, its fiery rays bursting through the sky, not just lighting the world, but igniting something deep within me. Its flames burn away the trivialities of “self,” kindling a transformative energy from inside.
In the misty horizon, towering stone monuments rise, stretching toward the heavens. They stand as timeless guardians, calling me toward some great becoming, still and whole, yet charged with the pulse of impermanence.
And in this moment, I realize that I too am part of this ever-shifting landscape. The elements around me—the soil, the leaves, the light—mirror the changes unfolding within. Each step, each breath, leads me deeper into alignment with something larger, a vast rhythm I’ve always been connected to but had momentarily forgotten. As the winds stir and the sun continues its arc, I’m reminded that this journey of becoming is ongoing. I am a participant of this experience and the infinite, unchanging, welcoming witness.
A'ho. Thank you for sharing Linda.
